The Swine Health Information Center is inviting qualified researchers from U.S. or internationally based academic, private or government institutions to submit research proposals under its 2025 Plan of Work Research Program. The Swine Health Information Center has allocated 1.5 million dollars for research under its "2025 Plan of Work Research Program."
SHIC Executive Director Dr. Megan Niederwerder explains the request for research proposals is intended to assist the center in fulfilling its mission to protect and enhance the U.S. swine herd by minimising the impact of emerging disease threats through targeted research investment.
