The Dorotabo

The Dorotabo

These Japanese monsters usually appear in overgrown fields.

The Dorotabo are said to be the transformed ghosts of old men who worked in rice fields. They each have one eye and three fingers. The monsters rise out of the mud at night and tell trespassers to “Give me back my rice field!”
