Modeled after the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP), the U.S. Swine Health Improvement Plan (U.S. SHIP) program is a swine health framework for disease status certification of pork premises.
The initial and principal objectives are to develop and implement an African swine fever (ASF) and classical swine fever (CSF) monitored certification of U.S. pork production operations (farm sites and slaughter facilities).
