Oct 06, 2015

Alberta Agriculture has released the Nutrient Beneficial Management Practices (BMP) Evaluation Project final report. The BMP Project was a six-year (2006 to 2012) study, the purpose of which was to evaluate the environmental effectiveness and economic implications of implementing water quality BMPs at the field and watershed scales. The study had two main components – a field study and a modelling study. Barry Olson, research scientist, joins us on the line to discuss the types of BMP’s tested, and how effective they were.
