NCBA's national anthem contest - cast your vote for the next star

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) is excited to announce the return of its 11th annual National Anthem Singing Contest, proudly sponsored by Norbrook®. This year, four exceptional finalists have been chosen, and it's time for the public to step in and help decide who deserves the spotlight. 

Allow us to introduce the talented quartet: 

• Landri Jones of Weatherford, Oklahoma: A fifth-generation cattle producer and active FFA member, Landri's family oversees a cow-calf operation. 

• Shirley Matlock of Greenfield, Indiana: A veteran of the United States Air Force, Shirley takes joy in working alongside her children and grandchildren on the family's cow-calf operation. She even shares her melodic talents with the herd during gate duty. 

Starting November 1, you can watch videos of these remarkable finalists and cast your votes on the official NCBA website at convention.ncba.org. The power lies in the hands of the public, and you can vote for your favorite singer once every day per person until November 15. 

The eagerly awaited announcement of the winner is scheduled for November 17. The lucky victor will have the incredible honor of performing the "Star-Spangled Banner" at the Opening General Session of CattleCon24.  

Additionally, they will receive an exciting prize package, including round trip airfare to Orlando, Florida, a three-night hotel stay, complimentary convention registration, and a stylish ensemble featuring boots, jeans, and a shirt from Roper or Stetson.
