- June 12 from 9 a.m. to noon, focusing on virtual fencing in practice. A meal will be provided.
- July 29 from 9 a.m. to noon, focusing on rangeland monitoring. Refreshments will be provided.
- Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to noon, with discussion on drones and their use in livestock production. Refreshments will be provided.
Participants are encouraged but not required to attend all sessions. The Cottonwood Field Station is located at 23738 Fairview Road, Philip.
Dakota Lakes Research Farm field day will be Thursday, June 27, from 3 p.m. to dusk. The farm is located at 21310 308th Ave., 17 miles east of Pierre on Highway 34.
The Southeast Research Farm field day is Tuesday, July 9, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. The station is located at 29974 University Road, Beresford.
The Northeast Research Farm field day will be Thursday, July 11, from 4 p.m. until dusk. The farm is located at 15710 455th Ave., South Shore, 2.5 miles west of Interstate 29 off exit 193.
The Oak Lake Field Station will be featured in its first field day Thursday, July 18, from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. with coffee and lunch being provided. The station is located at 19862 483rd Ave., Astoria.
There is no cost to attend these events. An Eventbrite registration link will be posted prior to each field day to ensure a more accurate count of attendees. Additional information will be provided closer to each field day.
