The company expects construction to begin this summer and has set a goal of operating on the site by the end of 2024.
The new expansion will include new equipment and create jobs in the community.
“The new facility will house a new CNC steel plate cutting machine and a state-of-the-art automated painting system,” the company said. “The expansion is expected to make room for 20-25 employees once the space is completed.”
SeedMaster also expanded production last year.
In March 2023, it received a $602,500 loan from the PrairiesCan Business Scale-Up Program to expand production and packaging capacities.
