Minnesota’s farm cash receipts in 2014 reached $18 billion; helped in part by the state leading the United States in turkey production with more than 45 million birds produced. 74,000 farms across nearly 26 million acres helped Minnesota farmers also produce more than $4 billion worth of corn and $3 billion worth of soybeans.
