Farmers in Kansas helped contribute to the state’s farm cash receipts reaching $16 billion. The state’s 61,000 farms, spread over 46 million acres allowed farmers to produce more than $2 billion worth of corn, more than $1.5 billion worth of wheat and more than $1.3 billion worth of soybeans.
