Video: How No-Till Corn Planting Works | MD F&H We visit a farm in Ellicott City, where they plant one of Maryland’s most popular crops: corn. We follow Ricky Bauer and his team as they work to ensure the best possible conditions for corn to grow and later be harvested. The process is long and meticulous, but every step has its own importance. Over the course of a few weeks, Ricky shows us how the crop is progressing. This is all thanks to the “no-till farming” and GPS technology that skilled farmers who work at Carroll Mill Farm utilize. Viewers can join us, at the end of this season, when we return to learn about the complexities of the corn harvesting process.
