Exports power U.S. beef, cattle prices higher

CHICAGO- U.S. beef prices have bounded higher this summer, defying forecasts as analysts cite robust exports to such places as Canada, Japan, Mexico, Russia, and Taiwan. Attention has focused on restarting U.S. beef exports to South Korea, but other countries ratcheted up purchases as those discussions were underway.
