Winners named in G3 Grow Beyond Scholarship

There was another strong field of candidates this year for the G3 Grow Beyond Scholarship. 

Candidates applied for the scholarship by submitting a video essay describing their vision for the future of agriculture. 

Overall six individuals were chosen with each winner receiving $4,000 with their high schools receiving $1,000 each. 

G3 CEO Don Chapman says choosing only six winners from such an impressive field of applicants was not easy and we thank everyone who applied for their hard work.

"“I am once again impressed by the vision and passion all the candidates showed for improving agriculture through technology, sustainability and other innovations."

This year’s winners included students enrolling in biochemical engineering and commerce, and proposed innovations in agriculture including genetically modified crops and water management.

This is the third year G3 has presented the post secondary Grow Beyond Scholarship, in partnership with Agriculture in the Classroom Canada.
