National Ag Day was celebrated nationwide on March 18, highlighting the significant contributions of agriculture to the American way of life.

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins and President Trump led the recognition with speeches and proclamations that emphasized the tireless efforts of American farmers, ranchers, and producers.

“Every day, through challenges and triumphs, the men and women in agriculture show up. They adapt, they solve problems, and they push forward ensuring that future generations can continue this proud tradition," stated Secretary Rollins, resonating with President sentiments on the critical role of agriculture in America's success story.

Significant events took place across the nation, including a variety of programs at the USDA headquarters.

Activities ranged from a USDA leadership panel discussing career opportunities in agriculture to engagement activities for youth and students, highlighted by a student panel discussion and a meet-and-greet with agricultural organizations.

The celebration reached a massive audience, with extensive coverage on social media and news outlets that significantly amplified the day’s impact, engaging millions in the conversation about the importance of agriculture.

The day was celebrated online as well, with more than 7,800 social media posts reaching more than 75 million users.  Also, more than 10,000 mentions were logged online and broadcast media pushed the total reach to an estimated 4 billion people.
