Biofuel Infrastructure Gains Massive Support across the U.S.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is taking decisive steps to fortify America’s energy security and foster rural economic growth, as announced by Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins.
A significant investment of $537 million will be directed to 543 biofuel projects across 29 states under the Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program (HBIIP).
These projects stem from President Trump’s directive to maximize American energy production and follow his executive order on January 20th, underscoring the important role of rural areas in building a robust energy sector.
Speaking at Elite Octane LLC in Atlantic, Iowa, Secretary Rollins affirmed, "Under the President’s leadership, we are moving away from misguided climate policies." Iowa’s leadership in ethanol and biodiesel is a testament to the potential of rural regions in enhancing national energy capabilities.
