Three Farmers Named To Saskatchewan Agricultural Hall Of Fame

The Saskatchewan Agricultural Hall of Fame announced three new inductees Wednesday during Canadian Western Agribition.
 
The late Art Mainil, a Lampman area farmer and champion of marketing freedom, was the founding president of the Weyburn Inland Terminal.
 
Also inducted into the Saskatchewan agricultural hall of fame is the late George Cooper of West Bend.
 
He served on many livestock committees to advance agriculture, including president of the Regina Bull Sale.
 
A rancher and farmer from the Prince Albert area, Tim Oleksyn, will also be inducted in the Saskatchewan Agricultural Hall of Fame.
 
He has been a supporter of the beef industry and served on many committees, including chair of the Western Beef Development Centre.
