Reports On Grain Markets, Ethanol, DDGS Offer Unique Information To Value Chain

May 26, 2020

The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) compiles a series of weekly reports to keep customers around the world and stakeholders in the United States informed about the latest supply and demand factors related to U.S. coarse grains, co-products like distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS) and ethanol.

These specialized reports each include highlights of global grain flows and provide key statistics for specific markets. All three are delivered directly to customers and members most interested in the information and available online.

“Open and transparent information flows are critical to keeping markets working and to building relationships with fellow members of the grains value chain, abroad and at home,” said Cary Sifferath USGC senior director of global programs.

“Our weekly reports aim to provide accurate and efficient information, particularly to those who do not always have to access to it from other sources, and to anyone looking for a quick summary of key data.”

The three specialized reports published weekly include:

Market Perspectives: Market Perspectives is a weekly publication that offers readers information about current coarse grain markets including price, weather and freight data important for buying U.S. grains and their co-products.

DDGS Weekly Market Report: The DDGS Weekly Market Report provides timely information on markets for U.S. DDGS, DDGS export figures, shipping information and USGC news. The report is a trade- and customer-servicing tool used by U.S. agribusinesses as well international feed and food grains/feed ingredient importers, processors and end-users.
