Register Now! Only A Few Spots Remain Available For Dairy Production Medicine (DPM) VII

Apr 02, 2015
Register now for the Dairy Production Medicine (DPM) Certificate Program VII! We still have a few seats available for this valuable Continuing Education opportunity.

The DPM course includes instruction in a wide variety of cutting-edge dairy practice innovations, hands-on farm problem solving, and the latest in dairy production analysis.  Participants will gain practical skills and knowledge that will enable them to increase the health and productivity of their client’s herds, as well as increasing the value of their services.

Penn State Veterinary Extension faculty are partnering with nationally-recognized faculty, researchers, and practitioners to deliver challenging, up-to-date, practical modules.  The DPM program consists of fourteen 3-day ‘modules’ which will be conducted over two-and-a-half years, starting May 1st.  In order to obtain a DPM Certificate, individuals must complete at least 10 modules (7 core plus 3 specialization modules).

Veterinarians are also invited to participate in individual modules, without completing the requirements for the DPM certificate.  DPM alumni are invited to participate in any modules at a reduced cost.  A veterinary practice may also enroll in the course, which will allow different practice members to attend different modules.

Continuing education credits will be given for each module and will range from 15-20 credits per module.

DPM VII modules will be held at the Ramada Conference Center in State College, PA starting on May 1, 2015.
