Rain In SW Saskatchewan Could Grind Harvest To A Halt

Sep 22, 2016

Rainy weather is expected to put a halt to harvest across much of southern Saskatchewan late Thursday or early Friday.

John Paul Cragg at Environment Canada says a low pressure system is moving in from the U.S., bringing unsettled weather to the corner of southwest Saskatchewan by late Thursday.

Cragg says rainfall could reach 50 to 75 millimeters in the Cypress Hills, and 10 to 25 millimeters across much of the southern grainbelt.
