On yesterday’s program, Barry Yaremcio, beef and forage specialist at the Ag-Info Centre, discussed stubble grazing as another option for feeding cattle. Yaremcio says the big thing is the quality of the feed the cattle are eating on these stubble fields. I asked him what level of protein is usually found in this crop aftermath.
