Next generation round balers with smart upgrades
New Holland has introduced the Roll Belt 1 Series, a reengineered lineup of variable chamber round balers designed for 2026. Built in Pennsylvania, these balers are tailored to meet the needs of beef and dairy producers across the United States.
The new series includes three models — Roll Belt 451, 461, and 561 — each offering improvements in feeding, durability, and technology. A newly designed single roller windguard, standard on all models, enhances feeding performance, while the Roll Belt 561 also offers an optional dual roller windguard for handling larger windrows. This upgrade delivers up to 16% more feeding capacity, reaching 50 tons per hour in crops like corn stalks.
Durability has been enhanced with stronger bale forming rolls made from thick seamless tubing, reinforced pivot rolls, and upgraded RC100 chains for greater strength. Bearings now feature triple lip seals to keep dust and debris out, extending machine life.
Technology is at the core of the Roll Belt 1 Series. The Roll Belt 561 introduces ActiveWeigh, allowing farmers to monitor bale weight in real time from the cab. ISOBUS Class III is now standard across all models, paired with modern IntelliView monitors. Optional IntelliBale automation handles the full baling cycle, stopping, wrapping, and ejecting bales automatically.
