Iowa dairy producers have the opportunity to learn about emerging dairy industry issues at the 2015 ISU Extension Dairy Days hosted by Iowa State University Extension specialists. The program is scheduled at seven eastern Iowa locations between Jan. 20 and Feb. 6.
At this year’s program, producers will learn about Alfalfa Establishment and Stand Persistence, Maximizing Alfalfa Yields of Dairy Quality Forage, Raising Beef on a Dairy Operation, 2014 Farm Bill ARC/PLC Decisions, Economics of Manure Management, Responsible Therapy Practices, and Defining Key Parameters and Benchmarks for DHI Records.

Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. and the program will conclude by 3:00 p.m. A $15 registration fee covers the noon meal and proceedings costs. Pre-registration is requested by the Friday before each event to reserve a meal. Vouchers for the event may be available your local agri-service providers or veterinarians
