The change in the weather to warmer conditions is a welcome site for farmers.
Agri-Meteorologist Drew Lerner, with World Weather Inc, was speaking to prairie producers this week.
He said we could still see some fluctuations with the weather.
"Now these next three weeks are going to be really nice, and we're all going to have the itch to get into the fields and we might get rid of the snow...but in April we'll probably take a step back. We'll probably get another one of these cold air masses coming along and chill down a little bit, maybe even get another storm system."
Lerner's encouraged that producers that still have crops out in the field should be able to get it off in a timely fashion.
He says producers in western Manitoba and southeastern Saskatchewan may see a delay in spring seeding due to the excess moisture in the area right now.
