2025 NSIF to bring swine, poultry experts together

The 2025 National Swine Improvement Federation Conference will be held in Kansas City, Missouri on Oct 14-16 at the Kansas City Airport Marriott. The program will kick off at 1 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Oct 14, and go until 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct 16. Registration is now open until Sept. 22.

As in the past, this year's conference will be held with the Poultry Breeders Roundtable. The first half day (Tuesday afternoon) will be swine-focused, Wednesday is designed to apply to both species (full day), and the morning on Thursday will be poultry-focused. Late Tuesday afternoon will also feature lightning talks from students and a social mixer with posters.

• Zack Peppmeier (Biotronics)
• Kayla Mills (USDA)
• Morotz (Wakefield)
• Austin Putz (Hendrix Genetics)

Award nominations will be sent out very soon. Organizers say regardless of nomination by species, they hope the entire program engages all audience members and are encouraged to stay for the entire program. Registration will allow attendees to participate in the entire program with poultry.
