Water quality is a major problem facing hellbender conservation. Responsible livestock practices like water trophs and riparian buffers reduce livestock runoff and improve the water quality of nearby rivers in the water shed. In this video, we interviewed Bob Sawtelle, who runs a livestock operation and maintains a riparian buffer to help reduce runoff into the Blue River.
