Woodbine Racetrack Floods

The freak rain storm that hit the Greater Toronto Area Monday left parts of Woodbine Racetrack underwater.
Woodbine, which released a statement on Tuesday, said that heavy rain submerged roads and infrastructure. While the main track is in good condition, training access was canceled as tunnels to the track were underwater and without power.
“Our horsemen and staff once again have risen to the challenge. Their perseverance and extraordinary sense of community are making quick work of a substantial cleanup effort,” the Woodbine statement read.
Racing is expected to be back to normal by Wednesday.
