Allis Chalmers and David Brown machinery will be up for sale later this month
Classic David Brown and Allis Chalmers tractors are among the pieces of equipment that will be auctioned off later this month.
Cheffins, a British auction house known for handling property, fine art, and farm equipment, is hosting the auction between Feb. 18 and 27.
Here are some of the pieces of equipment available:

The manufacturer produced the 34hp Cropmaster diesel between 1949 and 1953. The tractor had a 4-cylinder diesel engine, mechanical drum brakes, and was known for its double seat configuration.
Some online vintage tractor sites estimate around 60,000 of these models came off the production line.
An International B414 tractor will also be up for auction.
International Harvester bult these 44hp tractors between 1961 and 1966.

At the time, it served as a replacement for the B275. The B414 had the same 4-cylinder diesel engine design, but a ¼" larger bore increased engine displacement from 143 ci to 154 ci.
Bidders can purchase an Allis Chalmers D272 tractor too.
Allis Chalmers manufactured these tractors between 1957 and 1960. Its 27.5hp represented an upgrade from the D270, which had 20hp.
The D272 had a 74-inch wheelbase and weight 2,060 pounds.
All of the equipment in the upcoming auction comes from Rodney Thompson, a well-known restorer.
“The collection is being sold on behalf of the family and sees some very original examples, including a number of rare David Brown tractors, a particular favourite of Rodney’s, as they were some of the first tractors which were used on the family farm in Carnforth,” Tom Godsmark, director at Cheffins, said in a statement.
In total, the auction includes more than 30 vintage tractors and classic cars.
