It’s Canadian Agriculture Day and producers across the country are celebrating on social media

Canada Agriculture Day is finally here; producers and industry members throughout Canada are celebrating.
Canadians could participate in a number of Ag Day events, including an Agriculture More Than Ever conference in Ottawa, Feb. 16, 2017.
Agriculture More Than Ever encouraged farmers to share their photos and stories on social media with the hashtag, #CdnAgDay.
Farms.com has compiled some notable tweets from provinces across the country:
British Columbia:
Taves Family Farms, based out of Abbotsford, B.C., is known for growing apples, as well other vegetables and fruits.
For Taves Family Farms, Canadian Agriculture Day is about growing food for the future.
Alberta:
Derek Moses is an “Albertan farm kid” and studying agronomy in Saskatchewan, according to his bio.
He is proud to have grown up farming with family.
Saskatchewan:
Nicole Bohun is a farmer from Richard, Sask.
To her, agriculture is more than simply an industry.
Manitoba:
Amber Knaggs is an agronomist from MacGregor, Man.
Working in the fields for 15 years, Knaggs believes her “office” boasts some great views.
Ontario:
Denise Luyten is a dairy farmer from Mitchell, Ont., and also a graduate from the Ontario Agricultural College.
Every day Luyten is proud to be a part of Canada’s agriculture industry.
Nova Scotia:
Baylee Fulton is a farmer from Nova Scotia.
Fulton wishes the industry a happy Canada Agriculture Day by sharing a photo of Fulton Farm berries, as well as an image from her previous sheep herd.
Prince Edward Island:
Kevin Murray is a third generation potato farmer from Bedeque, P.E.I.
To celebrate Canada Agriculture Day, Murray posted the following photo of his operation:
