Subscribers to Farms.com’s weekly Machinery Newsletter are in for special editions of the newsletter.
A team from Farms.com attended the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Ky., in February to conduct video interviews with industry reps about the latest machinery and technologies available to farmers.
“The National Farm Machinery Show is always great because it gives you a glimpse of how equipment manufacturers are stepping up to support the farmers who are always trying to explore innovative ways of producing crops or raising livestock,” said Ryan Ridley, digital marketing and PR manager with Farms.com.
In total, the Farms.com team visited with more than 70 representatives at the show.
The first special edition of the Machinery Newsletter, scheduled to arrive in inboxes on March 25, will feature in depth looks at nine products and technologies.
Leo Bose from Case IH, for example, will provide an overview of the new AF11 Series combine, which is packed with technology, automation and connectivity.
Luke Weller, an engineering manager with AGCO, discusses SimplEbale, a retrofittable small square baler upgrade. It allows farmers to be more precise with flake count, density control, bale length and more.
And Jeremy Hughes, a product manager with HORSCH, will talk about the new MAESTRO SXL high-speed planter. The approach behind the planter combines technology and technique to provide precise seed placement at higher speeds.
“We know every farmer can’t attend the National Farm Machinery Show,” Ridley said. “I’m incredibly proud of the work our team has put in to bring this important information to the farmers who couldn’t be there, and to the farmers who want to revisit these products.”
