He has served in key roles on local and regional boards, including several drainage districts that support land and water management across rural communities. His service record also features leadership positions with youth organizations, arts institutions, and industry advisory groups. His experience on the Case IH Dealer Advisory Board ensures dealer perspectives are represented in business and product discussions.
Nationally, his experience includes serving two terms with the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He has also served with major agriculture groups, including USA Rice Farmers and the USA Rice Federation, where he held board and committee roles. His expertise has led to invitations to testify before the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, and state legislative committees.
His commitment to advocacy has played a key role in shaping equipment policy. He helped defeat harmful legislation, supported important tax provisions, and worked with federal leaders to protect essential business tools like floor plan interest deductions and Section 199A benefits.
