When farmers, visitors, vendors, and other agricultural enthusiasts make their way to the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Centre in mid-February for the National Farm Machinery Show, it’ll be the 50th year people have been doing so.

With vendors ranging from Branson Tractors, Perdue Agri Business, Terra Drive Systems, and over 800 in total, the around 300,000 people the show attracts will have no issues finding answers to any agricultural inquiries they’ll have.

Along with the show itself, the 1.2 million square feet that it sits on will feature a tractor pull with competitors from up to 10 different divisions, including 9,500lb super stock tractors and 10,200lb pro stock tractors.

In preparation for the 50th edition of the show, organizers released a new website to mark the occasion.

“The National Farm Machinery Show has been around for 50 years and strives to stay on the technological forefront of the farming and agribusiness industry,” said Kentucky State Fair Board CEO Clifford “Rip” Rippetoe. “The new website celebrates 50 years of history while keeping an eye on the future of farming.”

The third largest trade show around Louisville, it contributes about $21.5 million annually.
