Farmers in Canada and the United States will have more selection when it comes to tires, as Michelin is introducing three new sizes.
The AXIOBIB IF750/75R46, AXIOBIB IF650/65R48 and the Michelin BIBLOAD Hard Surface 440/80R24 are designed for tractors, telescopic handlers and loaders, respectively.
The AXIOBIB tires feature Michelin’s Ultraflex Technology that promotes soil protection, fuel savings and greater endurance. They offer producers a high-load capacity and low level of compaction.

Increased Flexion (IF) tires have the same rolling circumference as the industry-standard radial tire, but with the ability to handle the same weight with 20 per cent lower air pressure.
The BIBLOAD Hard Surface tires are designed for solid surface applications in agriculture and construction.
They're equipped with steel belts and reinforced casing, and a 96 multi-directional diamond-shaped tread block design.
The tires are designed to perform lateral, longitudinal and transversal movements on different surfaces, including snow-covered ones.

Michelin will be showing the tires in action at the Ag in Motion Show, which wraps up today in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Demonstrations will give farmers a firsthand look at the tires and the possible benefits of installing them on machinery.
"This is a great opportunity for us to showcase why farmers should think about their tires and what loads they can carry, because that makes a big difference to their equipment performance, their soil, their crop yield and ultimately their bottom lines,” said Mike Pantaleo, customer engineering support for Michelin Agriculture tires.
