We all know it's not the color of that tractor that is important (some of you might argue that)—it’s the tractor's performance that really matters.
The T8.435 Genesis is New Holland's largest front-wheel assist tractor in the T8 range, offering a powerful 396 PTO horsepower and an Auto Command transmission system.
This tractor features a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that allows operators to select the desired speed.
For example, if they want to travel 5 miles per hour, the tractor adjusts its throttle up or down depending on the load it senses. During PTO operations, rather than adjusting the engine speed, the tractor changes its ground speed to maintain the necessary power output, ensuring fuel-efficient operation.
One of the standout features of this tractor is its ability to hold a speed of zero miles per hour, thanks to the Active Start-Stop system.
Sanford said this feature would have been particularly useful when he was running a grain cart back in high school, especially when dealing with uphill scenarios.
Sanford added that farmers who have used the T8.435 praise its transmission system, noting its versatility for tasks such as primary tillage, planting, hauling, and other everyday farm operations.
With a horsepower range of 300 to 400, it’s an ideal fit for a variety of farming needs.
