This location will not handle rural policing inquiries after Feb. 24.
After Feb. 24, rural residents and stakeholders in communities like Sexsmith, Bad Heart, Clairmont, Webster, Braeburn, Buffalo Lake, Teepee Creek, Bezanson, Debolt, Dimsdale, Goodwin, Ridge Valley, Grovedale and Crooked Creek should direct concerns to the new office.

The RCMP is committed to providing the same level of service for rural residents.
“The Grande Prairie RCMP Rural Detachment is moving forward to better serve the needs of our community starting with a move to the Western Alberta RCMP District office. This move will not affect our day-day operations and calls for service will continue to be answered 24/7” Corporal James Johnston of the Grande Prairie RCMP Rural Detachment said in a statement.
