A fraudulent cattle scheme in Kentucky has been exposed, revealing the existence of 78,000 "ghost cattle" that were never actually raised or sold.
The scheme, which involved falsifying cattle ownership documents and inflating the value of the cattle, has raised concerns about the vulnerability of the livestock industry to fraud and financial crimes.
