In January, three antique John Deere tractor clubs in Ontario let people know of a celebration planned for June.
“The D in 23” scheduled for June, celebrates the John Deere D, which the company produced between 1923 and 1953.
The D is considered the first tractor to bear the John Deere name, said David Craig, president of the Upper Canada Two Cylinder Club and sponsorship chairman for the event.
