Case IH recently recognized the 25th anniversary of the Patriot sprayers with a celebration at the Benson, Minnesota manufacturing facility.

“Twenty-five years ago, growers and professional applicators were introduced to Patriot sprayers and shown a better way to optimize their time and accuracy in any conditions,” Jason Hausauer, Benson plant manager, said in a release. “Today, we are proud to continue to build sprayers that offer some of the most advanced spray technology on the market.”

The Patriot’s “cab-forward, rear-engine” setup gives the sprayers a definitive look. The design puts the static weight of the cab and engine over the front and rear axles.

And when the tank is full and the booms are extended, the production tank’s weight is kept in the center to allow for even weight distribution between axles.

To help commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Patriot, Case IH announced it will produce a limited number of special edition Patriot 4440 and 3340 models for 2017.

The new models will feature:

  • Eye-catching silver-and-red finish paint,
  • Decals highlighting the silver anniversary,
  •  Michelin tires,
  • Raven Industries technology
  • Wilger COMBO-RATE nozzle bodies,
  • AIM Command FLEX advanced spray technology,
  • And boom-size and precision technology options to match farmer needs.
