The series consists of four models – the 100, 110, 120 and 130.
“A tractor this size with this horsepower range was something we were missing from our lineup,” Greg Lucey, Farmall marketing manager with Case IH, told Farms.com. “The 100 comes in at 86 PTO hp and the 130 has 112 PTO hp.”
Case IH announced the tractors as additions to its livestock lineup.
Some of the features of the tractor series make it perfect for those types of operations, Lucey said.
“We’re getting into a smaller-sized tractor with a lot of sophisticated features,” he said. “The CVXDrive transmission, loader lift capacity (6,700 lbs. or 3,015 kg) and our hydraulic pump flow (28.5-gallons-per-minute) will make farmers and ranchers more productive.”
The tractors are equipped with a closed-center load-sensing (CCLS) hydraulic system.
Prior to the Vestrums, Case IH didn’t have a tractor in this class with this option.
“This is about a 12,000-pound (5,400-kg) tractor,” Lucey said. “It’s smaller than our Maxxum line by about 1,500 lbs. (675 kg), and the Maxxums would’ve been the first tractors where a customer could have had CCLS.”
Other features of the Vestrum include Case IH’s MultiControl armrest, Bluetooth radio, and a 55-degree steering angle.
