The PLDX offers flexible knife spacing, allowing safer seed and fertilizer separation during high nitrogen programs. Optional cab-controlled adjustment systems allow operators to change depth quickly without stopping. The opener also features stronger pivots and simplified maintenance, which improves durability and saves time during the season.
"This is more than an upgrade—it’s a leap forward Farmers want systems that cover more ground, offer flexibility, and fit real-world farming needs. The CDi50 answers that call,” said Dan Pries of Bourgault Industries Ltd.
Bourgault also introduced the CDi50 air seeder, built for high-capacity operations. The machine features a 50-foot working width, allowing farmers to seed more land in fewer passes. Its compact transport design makes it easier to move on public roads. Two on-board tanks eliminate the need for a trailing cart and support flexible fertilizer placement.
Farmers can customize the CDi50 with different opener styles, row spacing options, and optional Mid Row Banders for targeted fertilizer placement. These options help match equipment to crop rotations and soil needs.
“BiC has already proven itself as the simplest, most intuitive seeding control system on the market. With Independent Operation and our future-ready platform, we’re giving growers even more flexibility and smarter connectivity for the future,” said Phil Stokes Bourgault Industries Ltd.
In addition, Bourgault has expanded its Bourgault Intelligent Control system. New features allow independent operation without advanced tractor systems, automated seed planning, and direct data transfer to farm management platforms. These tools simplify record keeping and support precision farming decisions.
These new products will begin rollout in 2026 and 2027. Bourgault’s innovations support better planting accuracy, improved fertilizer use, and smarter digital farm management.
