AAW celebrates Radke's truth pursuit in agriculture

American Agri-Women (AAW) bestowed the Veritas Award on Amanda Radke at their 2024 National Convention held in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. This award highlights individuals who diligently seek and advocate for truth in agriculture.

Radke, a notable figure from Mitchell, South Dakota, embodies the spirit of the award through her extensive work in agriculture. Alongside her family, she runs Radke Land & Cattle, an Angus seedstock operation that emphasizes sustainable and ethical farming practices. Her advocacy is not confined to her farm; it also spans significant issues like her stance against the CO2 pipeline project in South Dakota, which she described as a "land grab" threatening the rights and livelihoods of landowners.

Her background as a former National FFA Extemporaneous Speaking Champion and National Beef Ambassador has equipped her with the skills to effectively defend the interests of farming families and promote the vitality of rural businesses.

Through her podcast, “The Heart of Rural America,” and her role as a syndicated columnist, Radke continues to influence public opinion and policy on agriculture and rural issues.

Additionally, Radke’s entrepreneurial initiatives, such as co-founding Bid On Beef and consulting within the cattle industry, demonstrate her innovative approach to agricultural challenges. Her membership on the National Agriculture Campaign Advisory Council allows her to extend her influence, advising on critical agricultural policies.

This recognition from AAW reaffirms Radke’s impactful role in fostering transparency and integrity within the agricultural community, ensuring her efforts resonate well beyond her immediate environment.
