Farmersville, Texas is located in Collin County about 35 miles northeast of Dallas. The town originated in 1849 as a settlement on the Jefferson-McKinney Road and its weekly newspaper The Farmersville Times, started in 1885, is still in circulation. New Jersey, California and Wisconsin are also home to a place named Farmersville.
