The next time Mickey Mouse's tall, floppy-eared friend Goofy comes on screen and says his signature "gawrsh", that's actually the voice of Bill Farmer, who also does the voices for Pluto and Horace Horsecollar. As a child, Farmer was in love with cartoons and would try to imitate his favorite characters - Goofy was his absolute favorite. After graduating from the University of Kansas he worked at the Comedy Corner in Dallas before moving to California in 1986 to pursue a career in comedy or acting. In 2009, he was named a Disney Legend and was awarded the Friz Award for animation at the International Family Film Festival in 2011.
