Video: Grain Farmers of Ontario VIP event and plowing highlights

The International Plowing Match and Rural Expo is being held in Pain Court this week. The VIP plowing match took place on Tuesday and MPPs participated in the opening day parade and opening ceremonies. Premier Doug Ford announced during the opening ceremonies that he was introducing a program to expand the availability of natural gas in rural Ontario.
Grain Farmers of Ontario is a sponsor of the VIP tent and plowing and participated in the day’s events. Chair Markus Haerle helped Premier Ford drive a tractor along the parade route and directors helped guide the plowing event. Grain Farmers of Ontario also has the Growing Connections trailer exhibit on site and has created the Tech Park to showcase modern agriculture.
