Alberta, Canada was a farming community well into the 50s. Now it's not only dominated by the oil and gas industry, but by agribusiness too - rapidly destroying huge forests as it expands and dangerously increasing the use of pesticide, a product of the oil industry. But local activist groups Pesticide Free Alberta and the Global Foundation for Social Harmony and Sustainable Development are fighting back.
