Video: Seeding Oats and Alfalfa
Spring field work is here! We are seeding oats, alfalfa, and grasses. The oats act as a nurse crop so that the alfalfa and grasses have time to establish themselves. Plus you are getting a crop off that field in the meantime while the hay is growing! We are using the John Deere 7405 and the Great Plains 10 foot drill.
