As much as 50 percent of that wheat is annually exported to international markets. that's why earlier this year, we took a trip to Portland Oregon, to learn more about what happens to Nebraska wheat once it leaves the fields. While up to half of Nebraska’s wheat is shipped to other markets around the world, the other half is utilized domestically. It is used in places like Marsee bakery.
