Dry Weather Causing Many Farmers to Irrigate Early
A hot and dry May has caused many farmers in Louisiana to begin irrigating their crops. Researchers with the LSU AgCenter are looking at ways to minimize water usage and lessen the drawdowns on area aquifers. LSU AgCenter correspondent Craig Gautreaux has this report from northwest Louisiana.
