Video: What does sustainable agricultre means to Canadian farmers? Cook the Books Student Lecture

Canada Beef partnered with Taste Canada as the Educational Partner for Cooks the Books. As part of this partnership, a guest lecture was offered to culinary students and faculty at each of the Cooks the Books participating schools. Hosted by Steven Hellmann, founder of The Foodies Group, this lecture explored the topic of what does 'sustainable agriculture’ mean to Canadian beef farmers and ranchers who lead ‘the herd’ with their commitment to stellar stewardship practices. Steven spoke with farmer Sandra Voss of Ontario and rancher Ricky Seelhof of British Columbia. Both panelists offered unique perspectives of farming.
