USDA Crop Progress Report: Corn Harvest Behind.

USDA Released the weekly Crop Progress Report which is currently tracking progress with the harvest.

The U.S. soybean harvest has pulled even with the five year average, while corn remains behind due to wet conditions across much of the US Midwest.

As of Sunday, 83% of soybeans are harvested, compared to 70% a week ago, 85% a year ago and the five year average of 83%.

65% of corn is harvested, compared to 46% last week, 71% last year and 73% on average.

90% of winter wheat is planted, compared to 89% on average, and 77% has emerged, compared to 72% on average. 59% of the winter wheat crop is rated good to excellent, unchanged on the week.
