The 2024 Badger Swine Symposium will again be part of the 2024 Wisconsin Corn Soy Expo at the Kalahari Conference Center in the Wisconsin Dells.  After combining these two events last year, Wisconsin swine producers had the opportunity to attend this premier grower event, the Wisconsin Pork Association annual meeting, and learn the latest in pork industry research and news all at one event.  Feedback from swine enthusiasts throughout the state was overwhelmingly positive.

The Wisconsin Corn Soy Expo is Wisconsin’s premier grower event where the Wisconsin Soybean Association, Wisconsin Corn Association, and Wisconsin Pork Association in cooperation with the University of Wisconsin Division of Extension Swine Outreach bring together over 1200 corn, soybean, and pork producers.  The trade show hosts over 120 companies in 155 booths.  The two-day robust educational program is filled with informative sessions led by university and industry specialists.  This year’s Expo will be held February 1-2, 2024, at the Kalahari Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells.  Register at cornsoyexpo.org

The decision to combine the Badger Swine Symposium with the Corn Soy Expo allows Wisconsin swine producers the opportunity to attend this event, the Wisconsin Pork Association annual meeting while learning the latest in pork industry research and news all at one event.

Topics to be covered include Biosecurity, Opportunities in swine production for Corn & Soybean growers, Swine health in Wisconsin including PRRS PEDv & Foreign Animal Disease Prevention, an Economic Outlook, and Prop 12 implications for Wisconsin swine producers.  In addition, learn the latest research and findings from the three swine research and teaching facilities at UW-Platteville, UW-River Falls and UW-Madison Arlington facility.  Go to cornsoyexpo.org to learn event details and register for the event or contact jeff.morris@wisc.edu or 608-346-9561
