Syngenta Canada Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Elatus® Era lentil fungicide with two modes of action to deliver superior protection against key diseases in lentils.
“Anthracnose and white mould can significantly reduce yields and increase harvest time, resulting in lost returns for lentil growers,” says Sam Livesey, product lead for fungicides and insecticides with Syngenta Canada. “Elatus® Era, with its powerful combination of SOLATENOL® and prothioconazole, gives growers flexibility to crush both diseases, making it an easy choice.”
SOLATENOL® is the only Group 7 active ingredient with proven, long-lasting control of anthracnose (including Group 11 resistant biotypes), as well as Ascochyta, in lentils. It also includes Prothioconazole, a well-respected Group 3 known for its strong, reliable white mould protection.
Carolyn Wilson, technical lead for fungicides with Syngenta Canada, adds that with Elatus® Era, growers are getting the peace of mind in choosing a fungicide with a built-in resistance management strategy, thanks to the dual modes of action, helping mitigate future resistance challenges regardless of their field's Group 11 resistance status.
